Welcome!

Welcome and thanks for stopping by! I'm Scott Ziegler, the lead pastor at The Bridge, and this is my wife, Linda. We've been at The Bridge for two years, now, and are having a great time in this dynamic ministry. If you do some poking around on the web site, you'll find that we as a church have a lot to offer, whether you are single, married, have a family, an empty nest, or whatever situation you are in.
We call ourselves, "The Bridge" for a reason. We are in the business of making connections: 1– connecting people with God, 2– connecting people with people, and 3– connecting Christians with the community through service.
Our primary reason for existence, of course, is to connect people with God. Whether or not you are already a follower of Jesus Christ, we'd love to help you with that important relationship. If you are still in the "investigation stage," seeking to know the truth, we'd love to introduce you to Jesus Christ and what it means to be a follower of His (see "Who Jesus Is" and "Connecting with God" for more info). But it doesn't end there, God wants those who know Him to grow in that relationship. We want to help you there as well, by teaching the Bible and giving you the tools to help you grow.
The Bridge is also about connecting people with people. This is a great place to build friendships and get involved with community. Check out some of our ministries to see how they can help you build the kind of friendships that give us strength in tough times and will last over the long haul (into eternity for that matter!).
But for you to experience real significance in life, The Bridge wants to help you to make a difference outside of yourself, by serving. As Christians, we are students of Jesus' life, and His life was one of service. We believe that every Christian is to serve others in a tangible way and in the Church, every member is to be a minister. That's why we also exist to connect Christians with service. Many of our service opportunities are out in the community, and many of them are through the ministries of the church. But by serving, we become a part of something bigger than ourselves! We believe that people achieve eternal significance through serving: serving God and serving other people.
Take a look at the other areas on this web site to find out more about us (especially "Frequently Asked Questions" and "What to Expect"), but by all means, check us out on Sunday! We would love to have you!
