Community Outreach

The three objectives of “The Bridge Community Church” are to 1-Connect people with God, 2-Connect people with people, and 3-Connect people with service. We believe that people achieve significance in life by serving and God has called us to love and serve Him by serving others in our church and community (Matthew 25:40). So a big part of what we do as a church is what we call “Community Outreach,” serving and filling needs in the community.
We do this in a variety of tangible ways. The Bridge hosts a community relief and assistance program called, "Neighbors Helping Neighbors." This ministry is partially funded by businesses and individuals in the community, but is organized and implemented by our church. Neighbors Helping Neighbors provide rides for the elderly and disabled for medical and routine needs, coordinate minor home improvement projects, build ramps for those with physical disabilities, and assist people with special needs in a variety of ways.
The Bridge Community Outreach also gets involved in a number of other community related projects, including park and public land clean-up, flood and natural disaster relief, as well as simple acts of service for others such as raking leaves and washing windows for the elderly. In this way, we hope to build bridges between Christians and the community and ultimately, between God and those we are serving.
