Pinewood Derby
The Bridge Community Church presents the 2012 Awana & Solid Ground Grand Prix Pinewood Derby!
Join us Saturday,February 25 at 10:00a for a fun time for the whole family! The race is open to all families with children in any Awana or Solid Ground ministry.
*Pick up your car kit on Monday nights. The cost of the kit is $6 per car, which includes the registration fee. You may also choose to purchase your kit from any hobby store and pay a registration fee of $2 per car on the day of the race.
3 RACING DIVISIONS:
- Family Car Division - Cubbies, Pre-K, K
- Kids Division - Kids in grades 1st - 5th.
- Parent and Volunteer Division - For competitive parents and volunteer workers.
RULES:
- Car must weigh 5oz or less.
- Car must freewheel, no staritng device.
- Car length - 7", max width - 2 3/4"
NEED HELP BUILDING YOUR CAR?
We will be holding 2 car building workshop days! We will provide the tools and people ready to help you get your car down the track and looking good!
Workshop days are: Saturday, February 18, from 11:00a - 2:00p and Friday, February 24, from 7:00 - 9:00p.
